Arti Shah OD, FAAO received her undergraduate degree from the University of California at Irvine, followed by her doctorate at the University of California at Berkeley, School of Optometry. Dr. Shah is a member of the California Optometric Association, Los Angeles County Optometric Society, American Optometric Association, and both a member and a Fellow (F.A.A.O.) of the American Academy of Optometry. She is also registered with the National Keratoconus Foundation.
Arti Shah OD, FAAO practices full-scope optometric care, including comprehensive eye exams and has extensive experience in the fitting of specialty contact lenses. Her fitting ideas, knowledge, and creativity stem from her exposure during her Fellowship training and faculty position at the State University of New York, and her previous position at the UCLA Jules Stein Eye Institute. She is licensed in the use of diagnostic and therapeutic pharmaceutical agents for the treatment and management of various eye conditions and diseases.
Aside from seeing patients, Dr. Shah is clinical research optometrist and has been involved in many research and clinical trials related to contact lenses and ocular health. When she is not busy working, you can find her playing biking, hiking, or traveling abroad.
